Please join us in welcoming Dr. Ryan Peterson, who will present “Best of Neuroradiology Board Review” at noon conference on Monday, May 10, as a part of the virtual visiting professor series.
Dr. Peterson obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Emory University. After completing his Neuroradiology fellowship at Emory, he continued on as an assistant professor in the division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging before returning to the division of Neuroradiology. Dr. Peterson is an Associate Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology residency program and the Transitional Year Internship at Emory University School of Medicine. He is also the faculty advisor for the Clinical Education Track within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. Dr. Peterson also serves as the clinical site director for Neuroradiology at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta’s only ACS-verified level 1 trauma center and one of the leaders in stroke related care in the Southeast. He holds a subspecialty certificate in Neuroradiology and has research interests in stroke, neurotrauma, and radiology resident education.
