Biostatistics & Bioinformatics for Cancer Research 101 Course

The goal of this class is to introduce the basic statistical and computational biology concepts and methods for cancer research, and promote rigor and a reproducible statistical approach for research. The intended audience includes clinicians, fellows, cancer researchers, and students looking for an introduction to or refresher on basic biostatistical principles.

Radiology Research Volunteer Positions

Research volunteer positions are available within all divisions in the Department of Radiology. 

We are looking for reliable students who are responsible, and able to work independently and conscientiously. If you are looking to get involved in research this is the perfect opportunity for you to build your resume and gain useful research experience!

Positions can last up to one-year for those interested in Radiology Imaging Research. We are currently accepting applications from 1st and 2nd year medical school students and those that have completed medical school.

These positions can include research in CT and MR cutting-edge techniques, new educational techniques in development of artificial intelligence tools and statistics. 

Each researcher  will have a mentor to develop a specific research project and will have educational activities in artificial intelligence  and statistics. This research is expected to result in published papers in national journals, abstract presentations at national meetings, and work with the research group in applying for external funding. If you are interested, please complete the form linked below. 

Priority will be given to current UF College of Medicine Students. Other domestic medical students will be considered for any remaining slots available, followed by international medical students.
