The UF Department of Radiology was represented by Drs Phil Scherer (second year resident) and Chris Lazo (first year resident) at the annual ACR meeting in Washington DC May 4-8th. They presented posters as part of the RFS section meeting (pictured). Recent guest lecturers Dr Richard Gunderman (Indiana University) and newly awarded gold medal recipient Dr Lawrence Muroff (Tampa) were among the many distinguished speakers featured at this year’s conference. The meeting was highlighted by a visit to Capitol Hill with over 500 radiologists meeting with members of congress to discuss vital political issues pertinent to the future of radiology and our patients.
