Overview

The Division of Cardiac Imaging was formed through an interdisciplinary effort involving radiologists and adult and pediatric cardiologists. These physicians have completed additional training in the acquisition and interpretation of cardiac studies as needed to be credentialed in this new specialty. In this section we have a program in cardiovascular imaging that offers a unique blend of Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI and Nuclear Cardiac Imaging.

The interdisciplinary approach permits teaching of image interpretation as well as clinical utility and appropriateness of the various testing modalities. The division also has direct access to correlative cardiac ultrasound and coronary angiography.
