About our Team

The Abdominal Imaging Division offers a wide array of cross-sectional and radiographic examinations as well as image-guided interventions. Specialized techniques include multiparametric MRI of the prostate, rectal cancer MRI, CT colonography, ultrasound shear wave elastography, and secretin MR cholangiopancreatography. Our division interacts with numerous departments throughout the hospital on a daily basis. We staff regular multidisciplinary conferences, which include Hepatobiliary Tumor Board, Genitourinary Tumor Board, Fusion Biopsy Prostate Tumor Board, Gynecologic Oncology Tumor Board, Gastrointestinal Oncology Tumor Board, Gynecology Multidisciplinary Conference, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Multidisciplinary Conference. We also participate in interdisciplinary research with our various clinical colleagues.

Research Activities

Our faculty and trainees participate in an array of research projects that often involve collaboration across divisions, departments, and institutions. We have active IRB-approved projects with Interventional Radiology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Transplant Surgery, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Endocrinology, and Pathology.
