Dr. Sarpi, a radiologist in the Neuroradiology department at UF Health, has been awarded the Fixel Institute’s Early Researcher Catalyst Award. This prestigious award supports early-career investigators committed to advancing clinical and translational neuroscience. Dr. Sarpi’s research will establish the UF Alzheimer’s Disease Imaging Repository (UF-ADIR), the first of its kind in the Southeastern U.S., integrating advanced neuroimaging and biomarker data to develop explainable AI tools for Alzheimer’s diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
