The UF Radiology Journal Club met again on the evening of October 22nd at Covey Kitchen in Hotel Eleo to discuss two current topics in Pediatric Imaging. Dr. Akhil Kolluri critiqued an article focusing on the use of MRI for monitoring progression of disease in patients with cystic fibrosis and Dr. Bobby McCauley reviewed an article evaluating the utility and efficacy of targeted ultrasound and upper GI fluoroscopic examinations for diagnosing malrotation and volvulus in young patients. The conversations around both subjects were lively and dinner was delicious! Come out and join us for the next Journal Club.
