Dr. Bruno Hochhegger participated in the Thoracic Imaging 2024 Annual Meeting and Postgraduate Course by leading a session on fungal infections. His presentation, titled “What Every Chest Radiologist Should Know About Fungal Infections Guidelines,” was part of the Pulmonary Infectious Disease session. This session was designed to educate and update attendees on the critical aspects and guidelines of diagnosing and managing fungal infections within thoracic imaging.In addition to leading a session on fungal infections, Dr. Bruno Hochhegger also played as a moderator during the Lung Cancer Screening session at the Thoracic Imaging 2024 Annual Meeting and Postgraduate Course. This session included a series of presentations focused on the nuances of lung cancer screening, highlighting challenging screening cases, using data for performance improvement, screening in unique populations such as the incarcerated, and considering the impact of air pollution on lung cancer screening.
