Visiting Professor: Dr. Altan Ahmed

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Altan Ahmed, who will present “IR Board Review” at noon conference on Friday, May 28, as a part of the virtual visiting professor series.

Dr. Ahmed is currently an assistant member in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology at the USF Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Ahmed obtained his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his MS in Human Genetics from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Florida, where he also served as chief resident. He then completed a VIR fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

We are excited to have an alumnus back as a visiting professor to give board review to our current residents!
