Visiting Professor: Dr. Kevin Banks

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kevin Banks, who will present “Nuclear Medicine Cases to Catch” at noon conference on Friday, May 7, as a part of the virtual visiting professor series.

Dr. Banks is currently the Program Director of the Nuclear Medicine Fellowship for the San Antonio Uniformed Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC). He is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Uniformed Services University, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In addition to serving as a full-time teaching faculty, Dr. Banks is a member of the ABR OLA Nuclear Medicine subcommittee for maintenance of certification, serving as both a reviewer and item writer as well as serving on the ACR Economics in Nuclear Medicine Subcommittee. He has been a repeat speaker at the RSNA and ARRS annual meetings on a wide range of topics including: Nuclear Medicine After Hours, FDG PET Incidentalomas, Diuretic Renal Scintigraphy, and DaTscan for Movement Disorders. Dr. Banks is also the 2018 recipient of the American College of Nuclear Medicine Best Mentor Award.
