Please join us in congratulating Dr Erik Middlebrooks (Neuro Fellow), who was awarded the RSNA 2015 Roentgen Fellow Research Award.
The award recognizes outstanding radiologic research by receipt of research grants or contributions to the success of a research program within a department, publication in peer-reviewed journals, and presentations at regional or national meetings.
Over the past year, Dr. Middlebrooks has 5 publications accepted in peer-reviewed journals including the American Journal of Neuroradiology and Journal of Neurosurgery. He has spoken at multiple national and regional annual meetings including the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, Southeastern Neuroradiology Society, and Florida Neonatal Neurologic Network. He is also a co-investigator on an ongoing NIH R01 grant investigating functional and spectroscopic changes of the brain after bariatric surgery.
