Please join us in congratulating Dr Elizabeth B Vorhis who has been officially named as the new Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program effective September 1, 2012.
An Assistant Professor in the Abdominal Imaging section, Dr Vorhis has been with the Department of Radiology since July 2009. She currently serves as the Clerkship Director of the 4th year medical student elective. She previously worked as a Radiologist at Doctors Imaging Group in Gainesville.
Dr Vorhis completed her undergraduate degree at Florida State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She was awarded her medical degree with academic and research honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a Research Fellowship in the Department of Surgery and a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology with the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr Vorhis is a Board Certified Radiologist and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
