On Wednesday, May 6, 2009, Dr Andrew Rivard, (3rd year radiology resident) will join more than 400 members of the American College of Radiology to visit with members of congress on Capitol Hill to discuss legislative issues important to the radiology profession. These issues include physician retention in Florida, child care, health insurance, tort reform, as well as quality and safety standards regarding the practice of imaging and overall physician reimbursement.
