Please join us in congratulating Dr Jackie Henkel, 2nd year resident, who was selected for the RSNA/AUR/ARRS Introduction to Academic Radiology (ITAR) Program, which will take place during the annual RSNA meeting in November in Chicago, Illinois.
The Introduction to Academic Radiology program consists of approximately 15 hours of didactic lectures, panel discussions and small group discussions and small group interactions. Objectives include:
• To introduce residents to research early in their training
• To demonstrate the importance of research to the practice and future of radiology
• To share the excitement and satisfaction of research careers in radiology
• To introduce residents to successful clinical radiology researchers, future colleagues and potential mentors
We are excited about Dr Henkel’s participation and look forward to participating in future years.
