The Department of Radiology’s first monthly journal club session is scheduled for 6:00PM on Tuesday, September 5 at Blue Gill. The September session will focus on Abdominal Imaging:
- Dr Davin Watson: Characterization of Small Focal Renal Lesions
- Dr Joseph Zachary: Automated Retrieval of CT Images of Liver Lesions on the Basis of Image Similarity
- Dr John Pham: Utility of MRI to Differentiate Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Adrenal Metastases From Adrenal Adenomas
The journal club sessions will be a recurring series where residents will discuss current literature with an aim of learning how to critically review an original scientific article. Three to four manuscripts will be presented at each event by residents. Topics will be coordinated by our Chief Resident for Research, Lindsay Thornton.
