Please join us in congratulating Dr Lindsay Thornton (3rd Year Resident), who has been appointed the 2017-2018 Chief Resident for Research. Dr Thornton’s demonstrated interest in academic medicine, including research and journalism, makes her an excellent choice.
The Chief Resident for Research position is designed to provide resident to resident level mentorship and to help promote the research opportunities provided to UF residents. Responsibilities include working with the Office of Research to help direct initiatives that increase resident participation in research.
