AUR Annual Meeting

The UF Department of Radiology was well represented at the Association for University Radiologists (AUR) annual meeting in Baltimore, Maryland during the week of April 1-4.

Dr Richard Beegle (Chief Resident) gave an invited presentation in the Hot Topics in Radiology Education session.

Dr Lori Deitte (Professor, Abdominal Imaging) gave several invited presentations and directed the Teaching Certificate Faculty Development workshop.

Dr Linda Lanier (WIDI Program Director), Bayar Batmunh (WIDI Program Coordinator) and Brenda Tieden (WIDI Program Manager), showcased the Emergent/Critical Care Imaging Simulation, an integral component of the Department’s Wisdom in Diagnostic Imaging (WIDI) Program. The Simulation, developed by UF Radiology using the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Radiology Case Management System (RCMS) will enable program directors to assess and document clinical interpretation competence of their trainees.

Dr David Wymer (Residency Program Director), Dr David Miller (incoming Chief Resident), Dr Garrett Woodbury (incoming Chief Resident) and Bree DuBois (Residency Program Coordinator) participated in the APDR, A3CR2 and APCR programs respectively.
